I am an expatriate Texan, living for the last 20 years in Brooklyn, NY. I write for the pure enjoyment of it and for the love of story-telling. A third-generation Houstonian, I grew up in the 1950s and 1960s parented primarily by my grandmother who was quite the story-teller. It is from her that I acquired my love of a good story.

It is to her, Mary Emily Kuehn Hanson (1889-1973), that I dedicate my story-telling.
